Developed a high-performance USSD service requiring exceptionally low latency. By proactively adopting GoLang for its backend, achieved remarkable 10-millisecond cold starts and ensured overall response times within 1.5 seconds, proving a new, highly efficient architecture.

Optimized a high-traffic omnichannel payment platform, crucially enabling payments in remote areas. Led the migration from a monolithic structure to microservices, achieving an 88.75% reduction in build time and a 25% performance boost through strategic optimizations and offloading tasks to SQS. Integrated ONDC, handled ledgers and incentives.

My work involves developing critical user-facing modules like "Bullion," leveraging modern tech stack including Nest.js and gRPC, contributing to a high-impact, well-established project in the financial domain.

Streamlined a complex, unorganized enterprise project by re-architecting its core. Introduced better architecture, created new verticals for serverless functions, and implemented scalable API calls to relegate unnecessary tasks, significantly improving overall functionality and productivity in an early-stage startup environment.

Engineered one of the most unique platforms at Airpay, designed to seamlessly integrate with all other existing payment systems. This project was critical for ensuring transaction response times remained below 5 seconds, a challenging feat while primarily utilizing AWS Lambda with its notorious cold start characteristics.

Developed a challenging B2B payment application with restricted access, similar to Airpay Vyaapaar, primarily for shopkeepers or business owners (Wakala users). This project uniquely allowed Wakala users to interact directly with B2C users (Airpay Yako), focusing on secure and efficient transactions within a localized market.

Spearheaded the migration of a critical enterprise system from Azure Functions to AWS Lambda within 3 days, significantly enhancing scalability and performance due to the adopted onion architecture. Concurrently, developed the core system from scratch for monitoring and logging international transactions with anonymized details, prioritizing secure and compliant data handling and making debugging 75% faster by leveraging team’s AWS expertise.

Led a small team of 2 developers to build a microservice-based B2C payment application from scratch for the Tanzanian market, getting it up and running within weeks. Ensured consistent sub-3 second response times for geographically diverse users. Later, synchronized and optimized the platform with Airpay Wakala, further enhancing performance and achieving a ~20% reduction in variable passing via Redux.js.

Crafted an admin panel from scratch for the Airpay Vyaapaar project, providing comprehensive CRUD operations for various modules. Implemented a generic UI component and generic layout to efficiently manage and list data tables, significantly reducing redundant code by approximately 80% and improving maintainability. This foundational code was seamlessly integrated into version 2 of the project.

Developed unique mobile-focused crawlers for social media platforms like Telegram and WhatsApp. This project involved joining publicly available groups to detect and monitor shared pirated book content, showcasing early-career expertise in data extraction and mobile automation using Java and Appium, a first-of-its-kind crawler for phone platforms.

A project created entirely from scratch where I utilized Twitter APIs to monitor and log information for specific keywords. This system was notably used by law enforcement to track certain topics of public interest on the internet, demonstrating early experience with external API integration and robust data logging practices.

Contributed to an existing project by creating extensions responsible for crawling mapped websites. The primary goal was to identify and scrape advertisements listing pirated book content, which were then aggregated and displayed in a central dashboard for monitoring and subsequent action by the team.

My very first project, built entirely from scratch without any external guidance. This project was designed to search Flipkart for specified keywords, efficiently crawl through every relevant page, and then store the extracted product information directly into a MySQL database. This experience was foundational for learning Node.js independently.
